Provide a parent/child template approach to PI Vision displays
Creating a base display template from which other PI Vision display templates could be derived could save a lot of time and keep standardized displays updated with corporate standards.

Have the ability to left align charts on the Y axis rather than than the object edge
When putting scale labels outside the chart and left aligning the charts the axis does not line up if the labels are significantly different in significant digits.
This is especially obvious in collections.

Change the label of the target indicator (Target Limit)
Ability to change the label of the target indicator (Target Limit) on a PI Vision display, instead of "Target" be able to configure another word such as "Meta" or any other word for example. Get name of the Limit attribute instead of the Trait

Asset Page Nav top and Bottom
When browsing assets with more than 1 page of assets found, you have to scroll to the bottom to move to next page, it would be handy to have page navigation arrows at top and bottom of asset list

Symbol Properties: Set exact symbol position in pixels
As an addition to the feedback item "Symbol Properties: Set exact symbol size in pixels", it would be really useful to be able to set the exact position of symbols. This would make it a lot faster to line up symbols with each other.
The option to align left/middle/right or distribute horizontally/vertically helps somewhat, but often fails to do exactly what is needed. Being able to directly enter the position would alleviate that problem and make authoring Displays a lot faster and less frustrating.

Basic Layout and Visual Manipulation
Request: Be able to edit data charts formatting.
We can currently change a background or foreground color, but cannot change text color for axis, or choose to have no axis labels. Custom Axis names are not available either. Granted, this can be done if you import data into excel, but excel is not live data, which is what makes pi great.

Alert when not the owner (write access) of a display when entering "build mode"
Often work has been done on a PI Vision display (with a known/published URL) only to realise you were not the owner when hitting the "save" button. A prompt when editing starts, or keeping the save button in the "inactive" state if not the display owner would help prevent this re-work.

Access Vision Displays By Name Instead of ID
When migrating displays from one environment to another using the Vision display utility there is no guarantee the ID will remain the same in the destination environment. Since Vision displays can only be linked to via ID, all links in both Vision and ProcessBook files would need to change. This significantly complicates the migration process and makes it very error-prone.

PI Vision Page Authoring Tools Improvement
I noticed quite a number of issues while attempting to author a new PI Vision Page. Here are a list of things that are lacking in PI Vision compared to PI ProcessBook and needs to be included into PI Vision as soon as possible:
1. Unable to Copy and Paste the Format from one Graphic/ Object to other Graphics/ Objects
2. Limited Color Options in Format Shape/ Text/ Background/ Display
3. Unable to Resize Grouped Graphics/ Objects
4. Unable to set up Layers
5. Value Text does not reflect Multistate color settings, only the shades behind the Value Text reflect…10 votes -
Set the size of the display
A way to set the maximum size of a display, with the number of pixels or inches/centimeters, or even its size based on a common screen display would be really helpful.

Add new element to group without ungrouping
It is not possible to add a new element to a group already defined without ungrouping it and then grouping all elements together.

Allow multistating based on conditions from multiple data items
As a PI Vision user, I would like to add multistates to my display's symbols that depend on conditions of multiple data items. For example, when the pump status tag has a value of "Active" and the pump flowrate tag has a value less than 10, turn the value symbol red.

Allow the manipulation of PI Vision Displays using PI Builder
It would be very beneficial to be able to export the attributes/tags with some simplified symbol column (so you could tell which was which in large displays) in order to update displays as your AF Hierarchy or AF Templates mature. This would also help with many other aspects of building consistent PI Vision displays.
Another aspect of this might include the multistate associated with the symbol.4 votes -
Add keyboard shortcuts for object resizing
Add keyboard shortcuts for resizing objects (e.g., embedded images). In PowerPoint, for example, you can resize shapes by holding Shift (or Shift+Ctrl) and using the arrow keys.

Resize Groups / Multiple Symbol Selections
In PI Vision, add ability to change size of multiple symbols at the same time.
