In some situations, PI Vision administrators may wish to globally disable the Calculations feature, or selectively limit who may use it.
- Backwards compatibility with PI ProcessBook Data Sets is not needed
- Policy requires exclusive use of Asset Analytics
- Concerns of increased load on the PI Server due to lack of restrictions on Calculation creation
PI Vision should offer the ability to limit the use of Calculations throughout the system, or to only a select group of trusted users.11 votes

When I export data in the "csv" format, there is a cap of how much is exported. The cap is 3601 rows of data. Only data up to 3601 rows is populated. Would it be possible to remove this cap and export all data? For instance, my team exports pressure data for several years at a time. With this data cap, only the data from around a half a year can be exported at one time. Is there a way to export all data past the current 3601 row cap?1 vote

One thing that I've noticed about exporting data (as a .csv anyway) is that the time points are consistent across multiple tags, and on top of that they exported as one big column. Is there any way to standardize the time points across all the tags when exporting and have them be exported as individual columns?

Count of values in tables:
In tables there are some calculation (MIN, MAX; AVERAGE, RANGE, STDEV,...) available, but no COUNT - I´m really missing it for online reporting, for example: number of cycles or produced pieces based on suitable attributes/tags8 votes
Does count here refer to the number of events/data points over the time range? Or are you looking for a calculation of the total (the sum of the values of the events) over the time range?
