SQC (Statistical Quality Control) Symbol
Support for a dynamic symbol to display SQC data.

While we appreciate the interest the community has for this suggestion, we have decided to decline building a native PI Vision SQC symbol.
There are several ways to tailor an SQC/SPC implementation in PI Vision that are more powerful and more customizable than what is available in PI ProcessBook with the SQC Chart symbol. Use of Asset Analytics and Event Frames now enable the possibility to use SQC and SPC calculations beyond just the display and additionally allow trigger excursion notifications. Our suggestion is to develop an SQC solution through a mixed use of AF analyses and the native PI Vision symbols.
There are resources to show how SQC/SPC can be implemented using Asset Analytics and Event Frames as well as a workshop offering to help customers implement SQC/SPC in their environment:

We have been waiting for this ever since PI visializations became webbased.

Why this is important
Proactive monitoring and control of critical process parameters reduces variability and provides early notification of potential OOS conditions. Several recent events have revealed an opportunity to improve our knowledge of critical process parameters, be more proactive with data collection and review, and drive better decision making with understanding of risks and impact. Lack of focus on these areas may cause unintended consequences that impact our business and our brand. -

SQC charts with ProcessBook are critical to how we run our business. We want to move over to Coresite, however lack of an SQC chart in Coresight will be a show stopper.

We really should have this. Especially with the attribute traits in AF2016 we have all the components available.

Now that we have attribute traits in AF2016 one would like to use that to display SPC charts.
No easy workaround as the ProcessBook SQC functionality is not supported in Coresight.
