Unit of Measure (UOM) setting per user
As a PI Vision user I want to be able to switch the units of measure on my displays between Metric and Imperial so I can see data in units I expect. Adding support for AF UOM groups would allow the user to make this choice.

Yes, this works quite well in PI System Explorer and has been in AF for several years now. It would be great if it was added to Vision as well. Multiple customers have asked for this.

Same need for globalization of AF with common templates and displaying

This is exactly what we need

For international companies, it would be good having the possibility to use the new AF UOM Groups in PI Vision, so that each user could see data with the UOMs he is more comfortable with.
It would be even better if these would be selected automatically depending on the user region (though it should be possible overriding this setting). -

I disagree with the "per user" part. That seems rather unnecessary.
Also, you would have to specify which metric units become which imperial units. For example, do we convert ounces to grams or kilograms?

Switching between any UOM of a related class should be allowed for attributes on any presentation tool.

Need to be able to set the UOM for any of the values that are displayed in any of the objects. Not just switching the whole display from metric to English or Imperial

We have the same issue, so provide the users with both as data sources. Typically for example we build displays showing temperatures in BOTH C and F, and pressures in PSi and bar.
If both are available to the user, you can display both, or duplicate the display but change the data items, and have a link button between the two displays to swap between them.
