Ability to edit some PI-AF properties from PI Coresight, i.e.: Light-weight PSE
PSE is often used as a client-tool where it is not intended to be. It would be very beneficial to have a simple PSE tool just to view data. Browse Element Hierarchies and view Attributes, EventFrames.
Just like PSE. The hierarchy could also make a small step towards a navigation hierarchy to navigate to Asset-relative displays.

In my opinion, all of PI System Explorer (PSE) should be migrated to be web-based:
Maybe once PI System Management Tools and PI System Explorer are migrated to be web-based, then they and PI Vision can be combined into a single web-based tool for using and managing PI.
I think most of the PI WebAPI examples available in PI Square already show how to build a light-weight Coresight, that means exactly an asset element & attribute browser and query editor.
I would be more interested in adding light-weight editing functionalities in CoreSight , i.e. giving the ability to edit certain Elements and Attributes, that's currently possible only customizing it.

By simple PSE tool i mean the functionality embedded in CoreSight.
