How can we improve PI Vision?

Much richer dashboard look and feel properties to tune

a.      The canvas colour cannot be changed through a user-friendly control. The 2016 R2 version requires fiddling with the CSS in order to change canvas colour. Or, one must resort to overlaying a filled rectangle. Not elegant, on both accounts.

b.      Various font sizes, types and colours cannot be changed. Only trace color and style can be changed in PI Coresight 2016. However, the text in the trace side bar cannot be adjusted.

c.      The text blocks change text size based upon block size and cannot be independently changed.

d.      Better graphic element layout helpers (like snap, grid, group, even layers)

    Hi JP,
Thank you for the feedback. Nearly all of these are on the development team's radar. Canvas color and grouping symbols are already completed and will be available in PI Vision 2017, which will be released in the next couple weeks. Text size and snap-to-grid are being targeted for the 2017 R2 release.
