Nesting collections
It would be good if collections were essentially full-blown mini-displays, where you could group/ungroup objects and also include a collection inside another collection.

Nested collections is the logical way to visualize the hierarchical elements. It's hard to sell the hierarchical model to my engineers without a sensible way to visualize it.

We currently have to create custom symbols to accomplish this. It will be a great feature.

It seems like a natural extension of the concept given that all of AF is a hierarchy.

This would save a lot of customization

We have many assets spread out over many sites, nested collections is the number one feature most users want in our organisation.

It would help standardise many displays. I agree with others

Would be super useful for dashboard displays and navigation panes

Have had several instances in the last few months where this feature would have been extremely useful. Please consider implementing, this improvement idea has obviously been open for quite a while without any real tangible solution.

You've got my vote. Collections within collections would allow multiple levels of a hierarchy to be dynamically created in one display. There are occasions where some levels in the hierarchy don't have much information and in a drill down set of displays, having the extra step would be pointless. Whilst a collection can display all descendants which would skip the level, the level is still important in dividing the descendants on the display. Nested (or sub) collections would make this possible.
