Apply colour gradient to XY plots to highlight old to new data points
While we appreciate the interest the community has for this suggestion, we have decided to decline this item in favor of other high priority work the product needs. Thank you for your feedback, and please continue sharing suggestions for how we can improve PI Vision for you!
I'm also intertested in displaying an evolution in a XY plot.
We can maybe let the user add more than 2 recent values in order to see the latests points on the period selected? Thank you.

Ideally age would be a default, but it would be good to set the colour gradient to other variables, such as Temperature or Pressure etc., and then add a Z axis, so you can visualise data in X,Y and Z, with a colour gradient, and then ideally an additional variable for the dot size. Then you have an X,Y,Z Bubble plot with colour gradient. Sort of like https://www.highcharts.com/demo/bubble-3d/gray with the addition of a Z Axis. The Highcahart exampel here ... https://www.highcharts.com/demo/3d-scatter-draggable/gray is particular good as the 3D is draggable.
