Currently when pressing the left and right arrows in the time bar there is only the option of shifting to the immediately preceding or next interval specified by the duration in the time bar. Users would like to be able to maintain the interval length but have the option to specify how far to shift.

For example, if a user is currently viewing a display over a time range from 8AM to 4PM of the current day, 8h specified in the time bar, then they would like to be able to press the left arrow and shift back 24 hours to show 8AM to 4PM for the previous day.

An alternative option would be to make it possible to implement the above functionality using navigation links.
