  1. Convert ProcessBook display to PI Vision display

Can we have a tool to convert ProcessBook display to native PI Vision display? So we can leverage the full features of PI Vision displays,.

A migration tool to migrate PI ProcessBook displays to native PI Vision displays is currently in development for the upcoming release of PI Vision 2019. This will also include functionality to analyze your ProcessBook displays ahead of the migration to determine which displays are using features like VBA that will not be supported in PI Vision.

  2. SQC support for PI-ProcessBook Viewer

Support PI SQC Charts within ProcessBook Viewer functionality in PI Vision.

  3. Provide Switch Asset Navigation Button for ProcessBook

Support the Switch Asset Navigation Button for switching contexts on imported ProcessBook displays.

I am aware of the url parameter workaround but would be very nice to also have the switch asset for interactive switching.

  4. Can we get more development on Processbook "Make Processbook great again"

processbook looks like it is out of the late 90's and early 2000's.  Can we get some updates on this.  I know you are pushing PI Vision but some people don't want to use a web based software to do this with.  Because Processbook is so outdated in functionality and look my company has been looking at PARCview as a replacement.  This is because it is more intuitive and user friendly.  I do not want go through the process of changing to PARCview and would prefer a major update to Processbook.  Things like drag/drop from one display to another, modify…

  5. Zoom in PI ProcessBook ad hoc trends

When clicking on a symbol of an imported PI ProcessBook display it opens an ad hoc trend in PI Coresight.

We would like to be able to zoom on that ad hoc trend

  6. Upload ProcessBook display file to Coresight

The current mechanism to add ProcessBook displays is to copy them to a shared drive. Unfortunately our IT like many (I actually agree with them) don't particularly like opening firewalls for the Windows file share.
An easy solution would be to provide an upload option via Coresight. An authorised user would be able to save the PDI file to the display location via a page/dialog on Coresight. This would reduce some of the friction. The upload could also do some basic check like only allow pdi files.

  7. Imported Processbook ad-hoc trends should have x-axis

When you create an Ad-hoc trend from a Processbook display, there needs to be axis labels to show start and end times to help if graphical interpretation.

The behavior is inconsistent with ad-hoc trends created from native Vision displays

  9. Have ProcessBook and Coresight exhibit same behavior for imported ProcessBook Displays

In an imported ProcessBook display, I would like to see the same behavior in Coresight and in ProcessBook regarding changing the time context. In short, we want the value displayed to be based on the End Time of the display. We see this in ProcessBook, but not in Coresight.

Let’s say we have a ProcessBook PDI file that has a trend with a default span of 7 days. This PDI is viewed both in ProcessBook and via Coresight.

On that trend we have pi tags that are getting updated frequently. Above the trend we text that displays the address…

  11. Allow configuration of default AF identity ProcessBook displays are shared with

By default, PI ProcessBook displays in PI Coresight are shared with the AF identity "World". Allow the default identity PI ProcessBook displays are shared with to be configurable so that it can be set to one or more identities.

  13. Provide a ways to Configure the URL for imported Process Book Files.

Provide a ways to Configure the URL for imported Process Book Files. Currently the Process Book Files are getting unique IDs and those IDs are part of the URL (e.g. https://ip address/PIVision/PB/#/PBDisplays/88)
The problem is for example we change something on the files, it happens that the Display is getting a new ID. (Newer Version of the Same Display, new ID…)
For the end-user its annoying when the URL is changing. He has then to update the Favorites, or is confused (or even think the display was removed). Best option would be to provide also an URL with the Filename…

  15. Allow scrollbars on Coresight Processbook displays

When viewing large displays in Processbook the user can use scrollbars to navigate around the display whilst zoomed in so that the symbols remain legible.

When these displays are imported into Coresight there are no scrollbars which make it very difficult to navigate the display.

Scrollbar functionality should be implemented in Coresight processbook displays so that the same user experience is shared in both formats.
