Allow binding of a custom SSL certificate after installation of PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS
As an administrator for the PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS 2017, I want to be able to change the SSL certificate bound to the application through an installer wizard. Currently, the only option is to uninstall and reinstall the application, or manually bind the certificate using the command line netsh.

Support SAML authentication
The PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS does not support SAML authentication through Portal. Support for SAML authentication would allow PI Integrator users to configure their own Identity Provider.

Send timestamps to esri ArcGIS along with values
As a PI admin I would like to be able to optionally send through the timestamps of attributes to esri ArcGIS so that my end users can be sure that the data they are seeing in maps is current.

As Time Passes setting on Integrator Time-enabled Layer
As a customer, I would like to use the "As time passes, progressively display all the data to show all the data over time" in the time setting of Time-enabled Layer. This will allow me to create a heat map based on moving assets' paths cumulatively over a long time similar to the hurricane path examples in https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/create-maps/configure-time.htm

Support data filtering on map for time-enabled layers with PI Point attributes for geometry
Currently the PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS does not support data filtering on the map when PI Point attributes are used for the X and Y fields for a time-enabled layer.
I would like the integrator to allow data filtering on the map regardless of whether the geometry is static or dynamic.

Display data for entire time range progressively in map client data table
As a PI Integrator user, I would like the data table in an Esri map for a PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS time-enabled layer to progressively display data for the entire time range on the map. This is related to the enhancement request: As Time Passes setting on Integrator Time-enabled Layer

Support OAuth2 authentication
OAuth2 is the recommended security practice to authenticate users and applications by esri. This would also allow the PI Integrators to use Windows Active Directory Federated Services as organizations move to Office365.

Option to disable Integrator REST Services Directory
Allow Integrator administrators to disable the Integrator's REST API Services Directory as recommended by Esri for production systems. See https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/latest/administer/linux/disabling-the-services-directory.htm

Add security parameters to PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS
As an IT administrator, I would like PI Integrator for EsriArcGIS to support security-related configuration parameters so that I can protect my organization against cyber security threats. Some examples of parameters we are looking for are:
<RequestLimits> element, specifically the maxAllowedContentLength, maxQueryString, and maxUrl attributes.<headerLimits> to configure the type and size of header your web server will accept.
connectionTimeout, headerWaitTimeout, and minBytesPerSecond attributes of the <limits> and <WebLimits>
<httpCookies httpOnlyCookies="true" requireSSL="true" />
An attribute to redirect HTTP traffic to HTTPS

Set the default installation path to PIHOME64 instead of C:\Program Files\OSIsoft\Integrators\Esri ArcGIS\
The installation path should be consistent with all other OSIsoft products that are installed in PIHOME64.

Provide more information on why logon failed
When using PI Integrator for esri ArcGIS, logon to Enterprise portal or AGOL can fail. But the current UI does not provide why it failed.
As a user, I would like to know why my portal/AGOL login have failed so that I can either use alternate accounts or troubleshoot issue more promptly.2 votes -
Support ArcGIS Map Services
As a PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS user, I would like the PI Integrator to be able to publish Map Services (in addition to Feature Services) so that it can integrate with my Esri application that is not able to display Feature Services.

Configuration improvements
Post configuration (for this installation we're only using manually configured services/layers), you must walk through the wizard again to see how the data store / service / layer might be defined in GeoEvent Server. For support in these conditions, it would be helpful on the layer pages under ArcGIS tab to see how the layer is actually configured.
In addition, once created, it is not possible to change descriptions of services / layers. I could potentially use these fields to provide links to the above in external documentation, but cannot edit it.
Perhaps there are ways to do this, but…

Support Kerberos Authentication to the PI Integrator
The PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS does not support Kerberos authentication to the Integrator.
By adding support of Kerberos Authentication to the integrator means that when providing access to time enabled feature layers from external networks, the users do not need to enter their credentials.1 vote
