Provide support for Element Attribute with Value Retrieval Method by time Not Supported when requesting sampled data with an interval
When retrieving AF attributes with a by Time Range setting of Not supported, the integrator will not return the data for the intervals as defined by the Query.34 votes
This is now started and in development. If you want to know how we’re solving this problem, email me!
Make the PI Integrator handle DST transitions better by allowing users to choose between a sampling interval of 1 day (can be 23 or 25 hours on DST days) or 24 hours. Currently, the PI Integrator will publish 24 hours when a sample frequency of 1 day is selected, causing timestamps to shift during DST transition days.15 votes
The next version of the product after PI Integrator for Business Analytics 2018 R2 will include graceful handling of Scheduled views during DST changes for the calendar year.
If the Integrator encounters a timeout writing data to a publish target, it would be nice to be able to configure this timeout in the Integrator's configuration file (%PIHOME64%\Integrators\BA\CAST.UI.WindowsService.exe.config). It is currently not possible for the user to specify this timeout for writing to a publish target.8 votes
This use case seems to be most applicable to SQL, which has an execution timeout. The feature will be available for the SQL target in the next release after PI Integrator for Business Analytics 2018 R2. If you have a use case like this for another target besides SQL, please create a new idea. Thank you!
Currently the Views drop down in the Admin > Logs page shows all views from AF Configuration. The list can show apparent duplicate view names, since it also includes deleted views. Either allow the option to filter out deleted views, or have the ability to clean up old views from AF Configuration.3 votes
