Implement a Changelog/New features announcement functionality
As an OCS user, it is often hard to find out about new features added to the platform as it is constantly being updated. Understanding what new features are coming, what changes are being made to existing features and any bug fixes is important. This is a feature I take advantage of quite often with other cloud platforms.
Whilst changes will be continual with OCS, a monthly "re-cap" of what has happened will be very helpful. The service blog may be helpful for being notified of new/large features, getting access to more granular updates will help me understand how my…

Make Documentation/User Manuals Great Again!
In general latest versions of User Guides for all products are trying to be user-friendly, but this is taking its toll in form of less information. User Manuals nowadays should be considered as "Plug-and-play" quickstart guides, which are here to help customers to set up the product the way so it works. There used to be other, more in-depth written User Manuals several years ago, which were more like Reference Manuals. They covered all possible scenarios the customer could run into during the setup, they listed all errors, error messages, tips for troubleshooting etc.
Please, make the Documentation Great again…

Last modified timestamp on documentation topics
As a documentation user I would like to see a last modified timestamp on each documentation topic. This would be helpful to keep track of when changes/ updates were made to individual topics.

Provide a way to find other tenant aliases
A list of tenant aliases that is publicly available would allow publishers of data to more easily add subscribers.

Notify me when there is a problem with my PItoOCS agent or connection
As a PI System Administrator managing our OCS implementation I need to be notified when there is an important change in my PI to OCS software or the connection to OCS that will require me to intervene. I need a notification to tell me about any problems that are occurring. I also need to be able to configure the type of message I get alerts on. I need an alert when data stops transferring, or something critical needs my attention.
4 votesWe have added a Health tile on the home page of OCS to surface the status of installed PI to OCS agents. However, we are interested in learning more about your use case and requirements for Notifications when there are problems with PI to OCS connections or agents.

OMF endpoint URL not easy to find.
I think the OMF endpoint should be easier to find. I struggled with this for over half an hour trying to find the URL for my OMF endpoint.
Also, I might be wrong on this, but shouldn't the URL include the https:// as a prefix?
I used the OMF endpoint from OCS by using the "copy to clipboard" button, and pasted in my json configuration file for OSIsoft's Edge Data Store (EDS). The Result: I received an "error: Invalid Endpoint". The solution was to add the https:// in front of the url that I copy from OCS.

Logging Improvements
When debugging an issue (user related or otherwise) via OCS Portal Log viewer, to aid debugging:
1. new log messages should be viewable as soon as possible (or an indication of the delay) because this speeds up the debugging process,
2. option to automatically refresh view and set/view refresh interval, to see new log entries,
3. retain any log filters entered between refresh,
4. ability to save a 'log view' - including log filters - as default.2 votes -
OCS Portal Relative Time Entry
Inputs into the portal for start time/ end time should be able to be things like wild card (*) and other common relative time format (maybe PI relative time?)

Need to manage multiple independent environments for Development, Testing, Staging, and Production purposes
In order to confidently develop applications on top of OCS, we require different, independent environments to meet the needs of dev / testing / QA, staging, and production.
These environments should typically be isolated as far as configuration, users, security, and data.
There are also needs to promote objects in one environment to the other environments as they progress in the development & testing cycles.

Support meta data rules on streams that ignore some delimiters
I would like to be able to generate meta data for my streams that have extra, unused delimiters in the name
2 votesYes, the selective use of delimiters will be supported by the Stream Metadata Rules. OSIoft recognizes that not all delimiters in a stream name or description are equally meaningful; they may be quite significant in one position and unimportant/ignored in another position (e.g. period used as delimiter and skipped within the same pattern).
Development is currently working to complete this feature function.

OCS replacing a central PI Server
As a user, our company IT has a strategy to move all on-premise application to a PaaS or SaaS application. Therefore,OCS should be compatible to the PI Server and allow the migration of data and feature easily.

Auto-Fill Tenant ID from Shared Links
When a user clicks a shared link to launch OCS, they may get prompted for the tenant ID. Although the information is embedded in the links, it's not obvious to many users. It will be a much friendlier user experience if the tenant ID can be populated automatically.
