  1. Standardization & Management of Assets

As a SME creating Assets, I would like to have a way to manage and standardize the information for my Assets SO THAT I can maintain consistency and decrease the overhead of managing many Assets.

  2. Automated Creation of Stream Metadata from Stream Names with Delimiters

Ability to parse meaningful metadata from stream names to add context. Utilize the delimiters in a stream name to define a pattern for parsing metadata.
Stream metadata enriches the sequential data, and is valuable to OCS users for data organization, easier finding of desired data, and richer analysis.

  3. Replicate AF Elements and Attributes in OCS

As a PI System Administrator, I need to make it easy for our users to find the data they are looking for in OCS. With potentially millions of streams, having context around that data is critical. PI to Data Hub 2.0.0.0 now supports the ability to replicate AF Elements, Attributes and PI Point references to AVEVA Data Hub. You can now select the data you wish to transfer either by searching for PI Points explicitly, or simply search your AF Database and add the elements you are interested in. Any PI Point references configured as part of those elements will be added to the transfer automatically.

This functionality was released May 16, 2022. Please log into AVEVA Data Hub and download and install this latest version of PI to Data Hub to enable this feature.

  4. Asset & Measurement Context

Be able to add / capture context for assets / equipment so that those users that are removed from the process can understand the data.
