Deployment of OCS in Australia
Deploy OCS in Australia
We need to make sure the servers that our data resides on is located within Australia.
20 votesThank you for all the feedback! We plan to deploy an OCS/Aveva Data Hub cluster in east Australia in early 2022 (H1). Please continue to share with us your thoughts and questions.

Handle Unit of Measure (UOM) Conversion Across Companies
As a company that receives data from our partners or customers, I need to be able to convert/transform shared data from my partners into different Units of Measures (UOMs) that our company works with SO THAT we can work in the units we're comfortable with and our analytics and visualizations are built on top of.
9 votesWe have started development on Community Management features and Stream data sharing in OSIsoft Cloud Services (OCS) to enable sharing of operational data across tenants.
We are currently planning on supporting UOM conversions for shared data and in the OCS platform in relation to this work.

Managed Tenants for our Customers
We are a company providing connected services leveraging operational data to our customers.
Enable us to provision OCS Tenants on behalf of our customers, and manage things like data ingress, stream configuration, data mapping, context, and others for our customer managed accounts SO THAT our customers can just consume our service (and they paid for us to do these types of tasks).
We need a way to onboard our customers easily with their own OCS tenants SO THAT we can expand our business to all our potential customers, not just those that already have a relationship with OSIsoft.
6 votesThis work is planned as part of our Community & stream data sharing functionality in OSIsoft Cloud Services (OCS). It will likely come after we release our initial data sharing functionality.

Data Sharing Transparency Reporting & Auditing
Enable a way to easily identify what data we're sending (sharing) and receiving (consuming from external orgs) to understand where my data is going and who has access to it.
Have ways to audit who has access to our data.
3 votesWe are planning on having a way to easily tell what data you are sharing externally (and what data is being shared with you) in our Community Data Sharing initiative.
-
Search & View Data Across Namespaces & Communities
Ability to search and view information from data across namespaces and communities.
2 votesThis feature is planned in relation to our Community Data Sharing scenario.

Save PI Point Transfer List to easily rebuild transfer query
Having to redefine the Pi point transfer list manually every time is inconvenient. For example, it currently takes 5 different queries for me to build my list, and this last time I forgot one. It would be nice if somehow you could save and reference a previous list of pi points or the application remembers what has already been included in a past transfer. It's really common that you might only need to add a few streams to the existing pi point transfer list. If you could save a list of previous transfers then add the new query for new…
2 votesWe are planning to add support to edit an existing transfer in an upcoming release. If you would like to discuss your use cases and requirements around this feature, please reach out!

Enhance PI to OCS to be able to transfer PI Points with Float16 pointtype
Currently PI Points with the Float16 pointtype are rejected by PI to OCS due to OCS and .NET not supporting the Float16 data type. It would be preferred for these PI Points to be handled as Float32 by PI to OCS, rather than rejected.
1 voteWe are planning to add support for transferring Float16 PI Point types with PI to Data Hub (formerly PI to OCS). If you have specific use cases to share, we would love to hear from you!
