Missing Units of Measure (UOM)
If OCS is missing units of measure that you use and need for your data, please vote for this idea AND add a comment to this idea specifying what the missing UOMs are.

This work is currently planned for 2Q2021.
There are a couple of requested UOMs we do not plan on adding: VWC (%) should use the existing % UOM and include Volumetric Water Content (VWC) in the name or description of the stream. Same for pH.
Additionally, we are not adding currency at this time because of the many complications around conversions (since currency values fluctuate over time).
We will continue to update this idea with status updates.

These are only the initial UoMs that we found that are not in supported UoM list in OCS. There could be more depending on the device types and their attributes. Thanks.

As an OCS user in the agricultural industry, I would like to add these Units of Measure so that we can better support the agricultural data we are gathering:
Solar Irradiance in W/m^2
Atmospheric Pressing in hectoPascals
Volumetric Water Content as a % ratio
Electical Conductivity as deciSiemens/m
Concentration as pH
density as microgram per m^3
