Last modified timestamp on documentation topics
As a documentation user I would like to see a last modified timestamp on each documentation topic. This would be helpful to keep track of when changes/ updates were made to individual topics.

Make Documentation/User Manuals Great Again!
In general latest versions of User Guides for all products are trying to be user-friendly, but this is taking its toll in form of less information. User Manuals nowadays should be considered as "Plug-and-play" quickstart guides, which are here to help customers to set up the product the way so it works. There used to be other, more in-depth written User Manuals several years ago, which were more like Reference Manuals. They covered all possible scenarios the customer could run into during the setup, they listed all errors, error messages, tips for troubleshooting etc.
Please, make the Documentation Great again…

Support meta data rules on streams that ignore some delimiters
I would like to be able to generate meta data for my streams that have extra, unused delimiters in the name
2 votesYes, the selective use of delimiters will be supported by the Stream Metadata Rules. OSIoft recognizes that not all delimiters in a stream name or description are equally meaningful; they may be quite significant in one position and unimportant/ignored in another position (e.g. period used as delimiter and skipped within the same pattern).
Development is currently working to complete this feature function.

Notify me when there is a problem with my PItoOCS agent or connection
As a PI System Administrator managing our OCS implementation I need to be notified when there is an important change in my PI to OCS software or the connection to OCS that will require me to intervene. I need a notification to tell me about any problems that are occurring. I also need to be able to configure the type of message I get alerts on. I need an alert when data stops transferring, or something critical needs my attention.
2 votesWe are planning to support self-subscription to notifications that pertain to the status of a particular PItoOCS agent and its connection to OCS.

Throttle multiple identical error messages from appearing on the screen
As a user getting multiple of the same error can be very distracting. For instance if you are on the preview route you get an error on every keystroke

Auto suggest SDS Type from Data JSON
As a developer quickly trying to store data in OCS I would like to be able to send the data JSON that will be coming and to be able to get a suggested SDS type based on this JSON data. I envision this is similar to paste special in VS where you get a class from a json object. I would expect as a user to be able to edit this (ideally from a nice GUI, but the JSON would be ok too)

OMF endpoint URL not easy to find.
I think the OMF endpoint should be easier to find. I struggled with this for over half an hour trying to find the URL for my OMF endpoint.
Also, I might be wrong on this, but shouldn't the URL include the https:// as a prefix?
I used the OMF endpoint from OCS by using the "copy to clipboard" button, and pasted in my json configuration file for OSIsoft's Edge Data Store (EDS). The Result: I received an "error: Invalid Endpoint". The solution was to add the https:// in front of the url that I copy from OCS.

OCS replacing a central PI Server
As a user, our company IT has a strategy to move all on-premise application to a PaaS or SaaS application. Therefore,OCS should be compatible to the PI Server and allow the migration of data and feature easily.
