  2. Scale ranges for binary scales

When using a plot of alarm conditions with multiple of the same alarm on the plot, I cannot use single scale versus multi-scale without the scale becoming unitized(example, Trip/Reset becomes 0 - 1 - 2 without these providing meaning to the user. When using an alarm point or other binary style point on a graph, it would be better to keep the condition name instead of shifting to range of points.

  4. Search all of OSIsoft's YouTube channels

The search feature on PI Square and the Customer Portal can return results from some but not all of OSIsoft's YouTube channels. These results are grouped under the "Videos" content type. Instead, all of OSIsoft's YouTube channels should be searched, partly to make the content more visible and partly to treat all languages fairly, since each of OSIsoft's YouTube channels is dedicated to a single language.

This channel search on YouTube reveals most of OSIsoft's channels:
    https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=OSIsoft&sp=EgIQAg%253D%253D
There are at least 12 channels.

To fulfill this request, you might want to combine some of these channels in addition to adding…

  5. Prohibit Multiple Primary PI Data Archives

If the primary server is brought offline and the secondary is promoted, a situation exists where the offline primary can be brought back online and cause a conflict between two primary archives.

  6. Address the warnings given by the "Developer tools" of Microsoft Edge

PI Square gives >99 warnings in the "Developer tools" of Microsoft Edge for the home page alone. Please check the "Developer tools" for multiple pages of PI Square and fix any issues that Microsoft Edge reports to ensure that best practices for compatibility, accessibility, security, etc. are being followed.

  7. Enable OCSP stapling on pisquare.osisoft.com

OCSP stapling means the web server sending the certificate revocation status with the certificate to the users' browsers, which avoids the need for the browsers to contact the certificate authority to get this information.

OCSP stapling will make the website load faster and protect the users' privacy from the certificate authority. Please add support for it.

The link below can be used to check if OCSP stapling has been enabled (among other things):

  9. Enable OCSP stapling on customers.osisoft.com

OCSP stapling means the web server sending the certificate revocation status with the certificate to the users' browsers, which avoids the need for the browsers to contact the certificate authority to get this information.

OCSP stapling will make the website load faster and protect the users' privacy from the certificate authority. Please add support for it, especially since the Customer Portal can be a bit slow at times. Every little speed boost helps.

  10. Change "Feature-Policy" to "Permissions-Policy" on https://websupport.osisoft.com/

See the link below, which also scores the website with an A. This change should bring the score up to A+.

  11. On the "Topics" page, list online courses in the same order as in the learning paths

Currently, the online courses are listed in a seemingly random order on the "Topics" page (https://pisquare.osisoft.com/s/topiccatalog), which makes it difficult to find a particular course. Please list the courses in the same order as they appear in their learning paths on OSIsoft Learning (https://learning.osisoft.com/).

  13. Fix the orange buttons overlapping the text at https://resources.osisoft.com/

At https://resources.osisoft.com/, when both the title and description of the tiles span 2 lines, which occurs when the window is small (e.g. on mobile devices and older laptops), the orange button will overlap with the description. Please fix this so that the orange button does not cover any portion of any text.

  14. Fix the broken "Partner Marketplace" link under "Quick Links"

On the Customer Portal, under "Quick Links", the link for "Partner Marketplace" is currently https://www.osisoft.com/partners/marketplace/, which is broken. Please change this to the current link, which is:
    https://resources.osisoft.com/marketplace/?tab=All

  15. Search the content and comments of blog posts and not just the title

Searches search the title and content of KB articles, alerts, questions on PI Square, etc. For questions on PI Square, replies are searched as well. However, for blog posts, searches search only the title. Please include the content of blog posts and comments on blog posts in searches as well.

To be clear, this suggestion is intended mainly for PI Square's general search feature and not so much the search that is specific to the "Blogs" page (https://pisquare.osisoft.com/s/blogs).

  16. Delete blog posts with equivalent KB articles or that are old, unengaging beta/release announcements

There are >1300 blog posts on PI Square, and most of these are from the early 2010s when vCampus/PI Square was much more active. About 2% of all blog posts is old beta and release announcements with little engagement and information that is now largely irrelevant. Please delete these blog posts to make it easier to find the blog posts that still matter. Please especially delete such blog posts for products that are being retired (mostly PI ProcessBook and PI ACE).

Also, if a blog post has an equivalent KB article, then the blog post should be deleted so that…

  17. On the home page, make the search suggestions dynamic and/or partially based on past searches

On the home page of PI Square, regardless of which device I use, or whether or not I am logged in, or whether or not I am connected to a VPN, I always get the same suggestions. See the attached picture.

Please fix the search bar on PI Square's home page. It should behave more like the search bar on the page that appears after performing a search in the sense that its suggestions seem to be personalized. When I am logged out, I get the same suggestions in the search page search bar on different devices with different public…

  18. Add ability to enable email notifications for OSIsoft Alerts

As a PI System Admin, I would like to be notified via email when OSIsoft issues an alert.

Currently, I have to log into the Customer Portal and check my feed to see if there is a new alert as it is only possible to enable email notifications for the Tech Support Newsletter and PI System Security.

  19. Make italicized text more easily distinguishable from regular text

The attached picture compares regular text to italicized text. You can barely tell the difference even when you zoom in closely. Please make the italic formatting more pronounced so that it is easier to distinguish between regular text and italicized text.

  20. Add "Draft" as an option to the "Audience" dropdown menu of blog posts

The old PI Square allowed users to save draft versions of blog posts, which were not visible to anyone other than the author. This allowed users to save changes to their blog post without publishing it.

In the current PI Square, you must take great measures to hide your blog post until it is ready. My current strategy is:
    1. Write the text portion in Notepad++.
    2. Paste the text portion into a blog post set to be published far in the past (so that it will appear last in the list of blog posts) and with the audience set…
