PI Square - Nested threads look "cramped" and difficult to read

Used to look good on the old platform. Looks terrible now. Difficult to read is an understatement. Almost impossible to read is more appropriate.

To address the issue, the comments should use more of the horizontal space on the page. For blog posts, this means making the blog pane collapsible or putting the blog pane elsewhere, probably at the bottom of the page. It would also help if the reply to the 1st comment in the example link wasn't indented so much.
There should also be a minimum width for each comment so that if indentation would violate the minimum width, then indentation does not occur. I say "minimum width" and not "maximum indentation level" to account for different screen sizes.
