On the home page, make the search suggestions dynamic and/or partially based on past searches
On the home page of PI Square, regardless of which device I use, or whether or not I am logged in, or whether or not I am connected to a VPN, I always get the same suggestions. See the attached picture.
Please fix the search bar on PI Square's home page. It should behave more like the search bar on the page that appears after performing a search in the sense that its suggestions seem to be personalized. When I am logged out, I get the same suggestions in the search page search bar on different devices with different public…

Make italicized text more easily distinguishable from regular text
The attached picture compares regular text to italicized text. You can barely tell the difference even when you zoom in closely. Please make the italic formatting more pronounced so that it is easier to distinguish between regular text and italicized text.

Remove "Online Course: Programming in PI Web API" and "PI Integrator for Microsoft Azure" from the "Topics" page
The course "Programming in PI Web API" is retired and has been replaced with "Using PI Web API from Beginner to Advanced", so there is no need to have it clutter up the "Topics" page (https://pisquare.osisoft.com/s/topiccatalog). To be clear, I am not suggesting that the posts under this topic should be removed.
The PI Integrator for Microsoft Azure seems to have been replaced with the PI Integrator for Business Analytics based on the release announcements linked below. Also, the "PI Integrator for Microsoft Azure" topic on PI Square does not have any associated posts yet, so it is…

Bring back the Company field of user profiles, please!
As this forum mainly consists of professional users, it is vital that you are able to profile the company you work for - as part of your user profile. Please bring back the ability to display the company you work for - and please urge users to add this info to their profile!
It is always nice to know who you are talking to - not necessarily in person, but the company name is important. As a partner I've picked up a lead or two by identifying products and solutions we sell in our part of the world, but most…

Add Button to Allow access to Source HTML on Questions, Posts, & Blogs
Given the lack of formatting options in PI Square, would it be possible to add a menu a button for posts, questions, and blogs that gives authors access to the source HTML? This would allow the full range of HTML options for custom formatting and, while more cumbersome than menu buttons, would help alleviate the need for them.

Add Font Color and Size to Formatting Options for Questions, Posts, & Blogs
Adding a separate request since the font formatting options part of the below request (marked Completed and thus closing voting) was not implemented.

Add Superscript and subscript to formatting options
Especially in blog posts where adding footnotes helps keep the main content from getting too bloated, this would be very helpful.

Remove our ability to delete others' comments on blog posts other than our own
Currently, anybody (or at least I) can delete comments on any blog post. Please fix this so that users can delete only their own comments or others' comments on their own blog posts.
1 voteIt looks like you can Delete, but if you try, you should get an error message saying you don’t have permission.

Close Comments on Old Posts
I would like old posts on PI Square to automatically close comments after, say, 3 months. Very often new users will search for a solution to a problem they are having, find a somewhat relevant post from ages ago, then comment "I'm having this problem too". It's unlikely that they will get help and they may not be commenting on a relevant post. I would much rather see them open a new question.

Align the user's leaderboard entry with those of the top 5
Every page under "Topics" will display the leaderboard, which shows the top 5 people and then the user. Previously, the leaderboard looked fine, but now, the user's is now shifted to the left, to the left (see the screenshots). Please un-Beyoncé the user's row and align it with the others.

Center the logos in the social media icons in the footer
Of the 4 social media icons in the footer of PI Square, only the Twitter one is centered (which is strange considering that the Twitter logo has the most irregular shape and is therefore the most difficult to center). The LinkedIn logo is too far to the left, the Facebook logo is way too far to the left, and the YouTube logo is too high. Please center all of these logos within their respective icons.

Forbid users from liking or upvoting their own content
The old PI Square did not allow users like their own content or mark it as helpful, but the new PI Square allows users to like or upvote their own content.
I feel that the behaviour on the old PI Square makes more sense. Likes and upvotes on your own stuff is meaningless clutter and a shameless free point grab. Please restore the old behaviour.

Be able to unfollow inactive users
Currently, you cannot unfollow any users, active or inactive, from the page that shows you all of your followers, which is accessible by going to your profile and clicking on "View All" under "Following". The dropdown arrow by each followed user brings up a menu that says "No actions available".
Since we cannot unfollow users this way, the only other option is to hover over the "✓ Following" on the followed user's profile, which turns it into "× Unfollow", which, when clicked, will let you unfollow that user. However, the "✓ Following" indicator does not appear for inactive users (see…

Do not scroll when links are added to text
In any type of post (question, blog post, etc.), if you add a link to text, the box in which you are typing will scroll so that the text with the link is at the bottom of it. This is especially annoying for blog posts, which can have many links. Please do not scroll when links are added to text.
If you really want to keep some scroll behaviour, then scroll only when a link is being added to text that is not in sight. This can happen if the user highlights the text, scrolls, and then adds a link…

Change the wrapping behaviour at the bottom of the footer
At the bottom of the footer, there is this text:
©2020 OSIsoft. All Rights Reserved | Privacy Policy | Terms and Conditions | Do Not Sell My InfoHowever, if the text does not fit on a single line (e.g. on a laptop or tablet screen), it will wrap to the next line starting at whatever word doesn't fit. This looks very awkward, as you can see from the attached screenshot.
Please change the behaviour so that the text wraps based on what section doesn't fit. For example, if all of "Do Not Sell My Info" does not fit on…

List PI Square's Terms Of Use under "Code of Conduct" in the footer
Currently, the "Code of Conduct" section of the footer has 2 entries: "Code of Conduct" and "Our Principles". From any page on PI Square, it takes only 1 click to access them.
The Terms Of Use currently take 2 clicks and a bit of scrolling to get to. In the footer, click on "Terms and Conditions" and then click on "OSIsoft PI Square Terms of Use" if you can find it in the sea of other links.
In addition to where PI Square's Terms Of Use are currently listed, please list PI Square's Terms Of Use under the "Code of…

Name the tabs consistently when viewing all of your own badges
Go to your profile on PI Square and click on "View All" in the "Recognition Badges" pane. You will see 2 tabs:
• Earned Badges
• Unearned Mission BadgesPlease name these consistently. Use either
• Earned Badges
• Unearned Badges
or

Widen the "About Me" section of users' profiles
On a user's profile, the section underneath their name seems to be divided into 2 columns. On the right side, there is the "About Me" section. On the left side, there is nothing. Please allow the "About Me" section to use the full width, or at least more of the width, of this area.

Be able to bookmark blog posts and articles
Currently, you can like and follow a blog post, and you can bookmark comments on a blog post, but you cannot bookmark the blog post itself. Similarly, articles (e.g. this: https://pisquare.osisoft.com/s/article/000031888) cannot be bookmarked either.
When I say "bookmark", I mean the bookmark feature of PI Square, not the bookmark feature of the web browser.
Please allow blog posts and articles to be bookmarked.
