List current versions for all software
Currently, to see what the current version of a product is, you have to try to download it. It would be nice to see a list of all the current versions of software in a more convenient fashion.

OSIsoft, please consider this idea. It would make my job much simpler when developing a project proposal or a design spec for a new build.

Yes, it would be great to export to excel sheet. It would also be great for product life cycle analysis.

Please consider updating this. It is a common question in vendor qualification forms and it is not an easy thing to find. If the prospect does not have an account, then we can't provide a link to customer portal.

As an EA customer, we are asked to keep up to date with the current version. It would be nice to know what that is.
Is it customer service to force us to be data miners? One of the first questions that Support asks is "What version are you running?" One of the more common Support suggestions is "Update to the current version and then see what happens"

I also agree with the previous comments for this post. My company compliance require me to provide a list of current versions installed compared to the current version available. This task would be much quicker if OSIsoft would maintain a current version list again.
Also, the list should define version name, reference name and number. Examples: PI Data Archive 2018 2018 SP3 Patch 1, version 3.4.435.604 and PI SMT 2018 SP3 Patch 1, version 3.6.3.65.

I agree with all of the previous comments. Summarizing, the list of current versions is a very simple idea that doesn't provide the entirety of the information required for the effective administration of a PI system. We need the current version, with it's published name. We also need the previous versions in sequential order, with their names. And we also need to know which installer(s) can be used for each version. I would also add that another very helpful and currently unavailable resource would be a library/cross reference of installers and the software included with each.

Maybe a nice idea: Using WEBAPI to deliver such Infos, which was set up in AF. Osi can use their own Software to do that :-)
We have now a PiVision Display showing all PI-Versions in our environmant. Just the link to the new Versions from Osisoft is missing. -

Furthermore, we should be able to see what the historical versions numbers for the products mean as well. For example, the PI system explorer shows me Server:2.9.5.8368, it would be great to know or be able to look up that this 2017R2 (Human terms)

This should be paired with the deprecation status. A program can be "current" in the sense that it is the latest version, but the program might have been replaced with something else.

Agree. It is not easy to see what are the current versions of products as the FEED is pretty useless. I end up having to go into each product and the downloads section, but even here the correct versions are not shown. For example AF client MUI latest version is SP2, but the version name shown is 2018 SP2A for everything. Which means you don’t know what has actually changed.

We could easily see current release of all products in the past. Please provide that ability again.
