  1. My feed filter

    Add the possibility to filter the item displayed in myfeed per types. Because if we select multiple item type in our profile we can miss alert or release annoucement due to a lot of other items.

  2. Add user ability to reply to chatter

    Currently, only OSIsoft engineers can reply to posts and any user response is created as a new chatter item on the case. The user should be able to add a comment to a post.

  3. Allow Portal to be localized into a preferred language

    For customers and partners who prefer to work in a non-English language, it would be nice to have the option to localize the Customer and Partner Portals into this preferred language.

  4. Add possibility to see "All Cases"

    Today, it is possible to see cases according to following main categories: Recent cases, All Open Cases, All Closed Cases
    There is no possibility to see "All Cases", whatever their status, although it could be useful to see all cases of an entity created in a chronological order.

  5. Stop advertising superseded products

    The page linked below is a major source of confusion for anybody new to PI (e.g. me at the time).

    The list is not only long, but there is also overlap between the functionality of some products. There are 29 "products" listed, and of those, 9 of them have been superseded:
    • Advanced Computing Engine (ACE)
    • Batch
    • Performance Equations (PE)
    • PI BatchView
    • PI Interfaces
    • PI Interfaces for System Monitoring
    • PI ProcessBook
    • PI WebParts
    • Totalizers

    Please revise this page to eliminate mentions of superseded products. This will help both new PI administrators…

  6. Make it easy to find updated security patches to OSISoft Products

    As a PI Administrator for a power company I am asked twice a month to verify that none of the products I support have had a security patch released.  Any such products in a NERC zone need to be patched within the next 12 days.

    It used to be fairly easy to look at updates to all PI Client tools to find released security patches.  So far I haven't been able to find out if any have been patched.  This would also include interfaces which are prone to being run in a NERC environment.

  7. Make product release announcements easier to identify

    As all the news feed items have the same icon, so it is hard to pick out the release notices.

  8. Make Product Release announcements more consistent

    There is no consistent way to know if new product releases have occurred. Sometimes there is a new release alert in the Feed, but many times there is no alert. When there is an alert often the downlinks are missing. This is currently the most pressing need for improvements in the customer portal.

  9. Add more info in NOC cases email subject

    It would be better if NOC email cases had the case number as well as the status (Resolved, close or similar) on the email subject

  11. Allow new method(s) in the Quindar Interface

    1) The Survalent System API allows references to be pulled by station, or by PointID. While Station migrates around periodically in our processes, PointID does not, and is fixed. This would reduce tag change management by greater than 50% in our process.

    2) Our organization is using Survalent replicator and Archiver product to keep our Operations log (alarm log + other items). It would be good to ingest these items into Historian to work with the analysis engine to mark data as bad, etc based on SCADA system alarming.

  12. The current OSISoft web site is not working with Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 which is the supported

    Good Morning Ali, Thanks for u email. The current OSISoft web site is not working with Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 which is the supported browser in Saudi Aramco. Although we tried FireFox as well as Microsoft Edge. Both also are not supported for u web site. The critical issue is all our licenses downloads are stopped due to issues with your web site support only for Crome. We request any urgent remedy for the same please.

  13. Eliminate the need to scroll on the sign-in page

    On laptops, the contents of the sign-in page do not fit on the screen, so the user must scroll to see all of it. Please redesign the page so that the content fits on the screen. Shrink or eliminate the picture of the bridge, or send it into the background (e.g. https://login.live.com/).

  14. Time zones for 'Working Hours'

    On Windows PCs, date/time zones are referenced to UTC.
    In the picking list for 'Working Hours' in Add a Team Member (to OSIsoft Customer Portal), the available time zones are referenced to GMT. This seems outdated and should be standardised to UTC.

  15. Possibility to extract cases in csv or Excel-compatible format

    For one entity to manage and follow case creation by its administrators, it could be very useful to add the capability of extracting under .csv or other Excel-compatible format the Case database at anytime (by adding a button "Extract all Cases" for instance).
    There could be a standard Extraction configuration (case number, title, dates of opening/closure, status, people involved, etc.) and one with specific settings.

  16. Replace insecure HTTP links on my.osisoft.com

    On https://my.osisoft.com/, the "Partner Access to Customer Portal" link uses HTTP. Please change this to HTTPS.

    Also, in the page's source code, there is an HTTP link for "How to Manage a Case". This text and its link were either not fully coded or not fully deleted. Please do something about this. This extra text takes up space and adds to the page load time. Also, incomplete deletions like these may expose information that OSIsoft cannot afford for the public to see, much like the story of Microsoft Word's Fast Save feature.

Users will not care which version they are using, but to search engines, these are 2 separate web pages. 2 identical pages will always rank lower than just 1 page. Please redirect picoresight.com to osisoft.com to solve this SEO blunder.

  18. Submit picoresight.com for HSTS preloading

    picoresight.com simply leads to a page that is identical to OSIsoft's home page, and to my knowledge, the domain is not used much. This should make it nearly risk-free to submit for HSTS preloading, which will force clients to connect to it using only HTTPS.

    Page in question:

    What's wrong with it:
    • "Tech Support Webpage" link needs to be replaced
    • "Datalink" should be "DataLink"
    • "Logger(" should be "Logger ("
    • "Batchview" should be "BatchView"
    • "Active View" should be "ActiveView"
    • "Alarm View" should be "AlarmView"
    • "ProfileView" should be "ProfileView"
    • "Arc GIS" should be "ArcGIS"
    • "EA", "SRP", and "CoE" are never written out in full. There is also no link to provide more information on what SRP and CoE are.

  20. Add support for HTTP/2 on both the Customer Portal and the Partner Portal

    Currently, both the Customer Portal and the Partner Portal support only HTTP/1.1. Please add support for HTTP/2 for both of these sites. This will make them load faster and will hopefully solve the complaints about their slow load times.
