I totally agree in this matter! We dont want to stop all sources at a time. You should be able to choose wich sources you want to restart.

I think this is an important feature! As it is now, when you just modify or add signal from one source then you are risking changes in all other sources. You should be able to deal with one query at every time if you want.

    Hi!

We are still struggeling with this issue! We are implementing a PI point name convention that are object oriented! However we are loosing the unique name of the sensor that brings the data. Somehow we want to be able to retrieve the unique sensor name from a PI point attribute and be able to create a AF attribute using this name,
This is needed for the operators to find the correct attribute in PI AF or PI Vision from the sensor name in the controlsystem

Hi! Since it is nearly impossible to have a perfect naming convention for PI tags, i wanted the possibility to substitute another attribute from the PI configuration to get it into AF.

I would like to be able to track "count" as for example change in status! on/off

No of events. Configure between total changes or changes from off to on. Ex. How many times has a pump started.

Hi, we’re reviewing this idea and we would like to request more details on the use cases – i.e. what problems are you trying to solve?

The previous comment only described how to work around the issue, but not why you need this capability.

    Hi!

For example we have a cluster of temperatures on the stator windings, then i want to use a rollup to detect temperature differences. As it is now i need to use max and min and add acalculation to that.
Just using a "Range" function it would give me the answer immidiately.

Hi! Now i use the max and min output to calculate the range in a population of tags. With a range function it works direct.

Looking for more inputs on how to determine what the last good value is (was). While it’s simple to say a numeric value is good, but what if it’s a non-sensical numeric value like 1000 for temperature? It is also possible to the source system to send out status like NoData. How should that be interpreted? Please provide your inputs.
