This makes manageability very difficult whenever a customer wants to merge or split a large enterprise PI system. My customer wanted to split their centralized PI system into individual business unit systems due to many years of growth which led to decreasing performance.

The issue is that reprocessing an archive honors the digital state set in the header of the archive file and doesn't honor any digital state set changes made along the way. The only way to avoid this is to only 'append' to the original digital state set and avoid any string replacements for a given integer value (eg - 1 = OPEN changed to 1 = CLOSED).

This is a major issue as customers such as utilities go through their backend SCADA system upgrades which occur every 10 years or so. Often the SCADA vendor dictates these digital state sets which can vary wildly from previous sets.

I have a large O&G customer who utilizes SAML security exclusively for a federated fleet of multiple ArcGIS servers behind the GeoEvent server. Utilizing IWA with a manually controlled portal authentication is a no-go and makes use of the integrator infeasible for their needs.

My customer, a major O&G company, is developing a comprehensive silent install package for all the key PI components (Data Archive, AF, Vision, Analytics) with the only missing component being the PI Integrator for Business Analytics. Development of a silent installation script for the PII4BA would allow for a single centralized code base for cloud development. The customer doesn't not necessarily require this to be integrated with a cloud environment quick start script, a stand-alone kit similar to our other products would be sufficient.

I have also seen two other large upstream O&G customers building similar automated silent installation packages. Development of these scripts would add robustness and allow for further adoption of the PII4BA product.

I think the key is people would like either (1) provide an automated email subscription for these alerts identical to the previous RSS feed we offered on the old tech support site OR (2) a reformatted feed showing all releases, patches, alerts, etc. with icons.

The key is that "admin" users should be able to configure the NOC notification for all the users associated with their team instead of having those individuals each configure it 1 by 1. Way too cumbersome currently. If organizations use group listserver emails, they have to create dummy accounts for these email lists just to get NOC notifications.
