Another point: the PI Interface Configuration Utility is being indirectly phased out due to the transition from PI Interfaces to PI Connectors, giving even less reason for it to be bundled with any modern PI program.

Only half of the suggestion is completed. Support for TLS 1.1 was dropped, but there is still support for weak cipher suites for TLS 1.2. Currently, the website supports only 2 strong cipher suites, so if OSIsoft thinks that this is not enough, they can always add support for more.

Alternatively, the Locale could be based on the language of the server or the browser.

I encountered a similar situation, except that I was trying to see which tags I still had to add to PI AF (I started with a bunch of tags and a completely empty PI AF). My solution was to use PI OLEDB Provider in Excel to get a list of all tags on the PI Data Archive. I used PI OLEDB Enterprise in Excel to get all attributes in PI AF and their associated tag, if any. With these 2 tables in Excel, you can use lookup functions to check if each value in one table is in the other.

For Boolean (logical) operands A and B, A XOR B is the same as A <> B. That is probably why many programs do not include XOR.

In what cases would bitwise operations of any sort be useful in PI? Why are bitwise XOR, one's complement, and two's complement of particular interest?
