John is absolutely correct that columns can be re-ordered by a drag/drop method.  However, it took me a surprisingly long time to actually discover that functionality, as it is rather inconsistent with the overall design of other Vision settings.  Both types of table have a section in the settings panel on the right where columns can be enabled.  I think it would make a lot of sense to have this same list of columns also control the order in which they appear in the table, just like exists for Rows in regular data tables.

While this is subject to user preference, I tend to agree that "No Data" is not a useful message and is undesired in Vision screens because it implies there was a bad tag or an error of some sort.

Since my asset tables are usually created based on elements using a common template, I do not have many situations where an attribute does not exist for one of the elements.  However, I frequently exclude attributes for particular elements, and when an attribute is excluded, it shows a blank cell in the asset table.  This behavior sounds similar to what you want.  Unfortunately, it is inconsistent, as gauges and value displays show N/A for excluded attributes.

This would be extremely useful for identifying event frames from different stages of a process, or for visualizing specific types of events in PI Vision. Ideally, one could also specify unique EF templates for child events (created automatically using AF analysis with different severity triggers), but unique naming would be a good workaround in the meantime.

I would love to see a basic if/then/else function added to String Builder. In some cases, I can work around it using Replace or other functions, but I have had to abandon dozens of attempts where I want a string attribute to depend on some other attribute's value, and found it impossible. An IF function would have been perfect each time.
