Hello, We are testing PI Adapter on windows and have find a workaround by redirecting ports:
    netsh interface portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=<YourConfigPort> listenaddress=<YourExternalPAddress> connectport=<YourConfigPort> connectaddress=127.0.0.1

    This working fine for us.

At this time we have decided to pause development of the PI Adapter for SNMP. Please continue to share your use cases with us as we may consider PI Adapter for SNMP for release in the future.

Looking for more inputs on how to determine what the last good value is (was). While it’s simple to say a numeric value is good, but what if it’s a non-sensical numeric value like 1000 for temperature? It is also possible to the source system to send out status like NoData. How should that be interpreted? Please provide your inputs.

Thank you for your input. PI Adapter for OPC UA does support specific DA tag naming, as you can supply custom stream names. Please take a look at Kevin Geneva’s comment under this post of how this is handled through PI Web API.

Thank you to those that have already commented and voted on this feedback item. We understand how important end to end redundancy is for your data infrastructure.  I am reaching out with a specific ask for the comment section of this feedback item. Whether it is new or confirms what we already know you need from PI Adapter Failover, what are the triggers (failure points) that must be addressed?  I look forward to your additional feedback.
